This recipe is for anyone craving a satisfying, high-protein meal without a lot of cleanup. The simple honey mustard pan sauce brings a burst of flavor to the lean pork chop and crisp green beans, making it a delicious and balanced dinner that’s ready in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 1 (5 oz) Lean boneless pork chop
  • 1 cup Green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • a pinch Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
  1. Pat the pork chop dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chop and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the pork chop to a plate.
  3. Add the green beans to the same skillet along with 2 tablespoons of water. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes, until tender-crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard and honey. Return the pork chop to the skillet, pour the sauce over everything, and stir to coat. Cook for 1 minute until the sauce has slightly thickened. Serve immediately.
