Fragrant Thai basil stir-fried chicken served in crisp lettuce leaves, with fresh herbs and a touch of chili heat — a light yet bold dish that feels vibrant and refreshing.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground chicken (93% lean)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1–2 red chilies, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil
  • 12 large butter lettuce leaves
  • lime wedges, chopped peanuts (optional)
Directions
  1. Heat sesame oil in skillet
  2. Add garlic and onion, sauté
  3. Add chicken and cook until browned
  4. Add bell pepper, soy, fish sauce, oyster sauce, honey, chilies
  5. Cook 3–4 min
  6. Stir in basil
  7. Spoon into lettuce leaves, garnish, serve
