Description

Thin‑sliced chicken seared with bell pepper and onion and fajita seasoning, finished with lime juice and chopped cilantro.

Ingredients
  • 10 oz chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fajita seasoning
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (garnish)
Directions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium‑high heat.
  2. Season chicken with fajita seasoning; sear 4–5 minutes until browned and cooked through; remove.
  3. Add peppers and onion; sauté 4–5 minutes until tender‑crisp.
  4. Return chicken; squeeze lime juice; toss to coat and heat 1 minute.
  5. Garnish with cilantro; serve in lettuce cups or tortillas if desired.
