Description

Quick-seared steak bites glazed in a simple honey-garlic sauce and served with brown rice and green beans.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cups cooked brown rice
  • 3 cups steamed green beans
  • 1 tbsp sliced green onion (optional)
Directions
  1. Whisk soy sauce, honey, and garlic together in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Pat steak cubes dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear steak bites 2–3 minutes per side until browned and mostly cooked through.
  4. Pour the honey-garlic mixture into the pan and toss 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the steak.
  5. Divide brown rice and green beans into 4 containers and top with steak and sauce; garnish with green onion if using.
