Description

Turkey meatballs (with egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, and oregano) simmer low in marinara until tender—serve over pasta or vegetables.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt, pepper
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for searing, optional)
Directions
  1. Mix turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper; form meatballs.
  2. Optional: sear meatballs in a skillet briefly for color.
  3. Add marinara to slow cooker; nestle in meatballs.
  4. Cook on LOW 6 hours (or HIGH 3 hours) until cooked through.
  5. Serve over pasta or vegetables.
